I LOVE your idea! Probably because, as you stated, I have a love for vintage cars. But this is SUCH a great idea! I love that black boat pic! You might want to make that your avatar, too! I’m running a campaign here on PBer’s, too, but if I could afford to donate, YOU’D HAVE IT! Matter of fact, I might be able to find money during your campaign to donate, anyway! Good luck!

@Susan– Don’t make the mistake of thinking that if no one’s contributing, then they must not be doing anything. Because many people think EXACTLY the way you do: Unless someone ELSE contributes, they don’t want to contribute, either. It’s a twisted system, where you have to already HAVE money, before anyone wants to GIVE you money. A paradox.

Funny thing is, even though you have absolutely no risk– i.e. You’re money is returned if they don’t make their goal– You STILL didn’t contribute to their cause. As an entrepreneur on this site, and doing everything I can just short of dancing in the streets to get donations, I have to say your donation could have encouraged these women ( who live in my neighborhood ), and inspired others to contribute as well.

Also, have you checked out their Twitter or Facebook page? They are both impressive, and these women have written TWO cookbooks that were published as well. Not exactly the types to sit around, and not promote themselves, in my book. But that’s just my opinion.
