Danielle is originally from Staten Island, NY. She now resides in Manhattan where she works as a high school math teacher at a small public performing arts school. In addition to teaching, Danielle is getting a Masters degree in Education Policy at Columbia University. Her professional goals include working towards the large scale implementation of comprehensive community schools to better the education of disadvantaged children as well as promoting an ideological shift which safeguards public education against political instability. She believes every child has the right to fulfill their potential; regardless of who they are, or where they come from. Her interests include yoga, art, cooking, and music.
