Eva, Up above you can see what the funding is for "production tooling". so my guess is there has to be a mold or two and some production line setup, and then an initial production run. To get the lowest cost unit they'll have to manufacture a large number of units and a manufacturer is not going to want to have any risk so the price will be higher for all the setup and tests.
