I will get to travel to England, France, Germany, Belgium, the Netherlands, and Switzerland. I consider this an opportunity of a lifetime that will enable me to travel overseas, experience new cultures and ways of life. I am so grateful for the chance to broaden my horizons, and push boundaries of everyday life as I know it.  From flying to trying new foods, home stays, and the fascinating educational journey a trip like this will provide.

I will soar above the city on the London Eye, catch a theatre show in the West End, and cross the English Channel to France.  Storm the Beaches of Normandy to trace steps of U.S. troops on D-Day during World War II, and scale the heights of the Eiffel Tower for a lofty view of Paris. Cruise the majestic Rhine River, and explore the mysterious Black Forest. Experience traditional European life as I enjoy a horse-drawn carriage ride in Bruges, visit a Belgian chocolatier (I love chocolate) and Dutch cheese factory. Add to that, bicycling past windmills in Holland, and take a thrilling raft ride in the Swiss Alps.

Today, I need your help through pledges;  any dollar amount would be greatly appreciated that will assist in my quest of leaving for Europe in the summer of 2012. By pledging; your monies will help me reach my dream and help me earn high school or college credits. Participation through this journey will add valuable and key information on my future college applications!  A bonus would be acceptance to my first choice college!

I am a sophomore at Riverdale High School in Mt. Blanchard, Ohio. I participate in Varsity Soccer, Varsity Softball, FFA, and I am a Wrestlerette. I enjoy hunting, antique tractors, camping, and helping others. Although social time with friends and family is limited with my busy schedule; I appreciate the time I get to spend with them.
