about my venture

I have been given the opportunity to go on a trip to four different countries; France, Austria, Switzerland, and Italy, all through People to People programs. I will get to visit the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre in France, concentration camp Mauthausen and experience Mozart in Austria, cruise an idyllic lake near Zurich in Switzerland, and explore Doge's Palace and step into the Colosseum in Italy.

What is People to People?

People to People programs was founded by President Dwight D. Eisenhower in 1956. President Eisenhower believed that you could give young people the chance to experience new cultures and promote world peace through gaining an international perspective. These programs travel to over 40 countries and to all 7 continents.

Why help me?

I have been fundraising with pink flamingos, bake sales, yard sales, and raffles to earn my $6500 dollar tuition, plus an extra $500 dollars for spending while in Europe. I can't do it without your help though. Every donation puts one step closer and in the long run every penny counts.

    I have been given the chance to travel to Europe as a Student Ambassador through People to People, but I need sponsors to help fund my trip.

I am an eighth grader at Bennett County Jr. High and am so excited and determined to travel the world. I am in many sports like volleyball, basketball, and track. I am also involved in band, choir, and 4-H. I have always been fascinated by ancient architecture, brilliant art, and eclectic music. I cannot wait to take the trip of a lifetime through People to People programs.
