Hay Ya'll,

Thanks for visiting my Peerbackers page to learn about my European Discovery educational trip, as well as my various fundraising support efforts to make this dream a reality. This has been an exciting time for me as I was nominated to apply as a Student Ambassador and go through the application and interview process.  I was one of  forty students accepted and chosen to participate in this great program. There was a lot of competition when I went to my first meeting, and I was anxious about the process.  It has been an Honor to be selected, and has been a learning experience since day one.  As a Student Ambassador I am expected to represent my school, my state, and my country.  I am expected to be a model student traveling abroad building positive impressions and relationships with people from different countries and  nationalities. I must complete an Ambassador Certification, and take courses to educate myself about traveling in other countries.

I am excited to visit France as I have been learning French the past two years, and always dreamed of seeing the Eiffel Tower.  Another interest is going the Austria to go to school with a student and stay with a family on a home visit.  I will be able to see the concentration camp memorial as I  have been studying this in my history class. It will be an honor to visit the Vatican in Italy and see the Sistine Chapel where Michelangelo's masterpiece is displayed. We will travel the Alpine in Switzerland, see the home of Mozart and stand in the scenery where Sound of Music was filmed.  There is much more on our agenda, as this just gives you fraction of all we will encounter on this European Discovery.

    I will do ten hours of Community Service in Honor of your name at a nonprofit human services organization for your generous support. Service ours would possibly be at a Homeless Shelter, Food Kitchen, Animal Humane Society, Group Home or School for Disadvantaged youth. Hours will be worked within a two week period and you will be notified by e-mail. Please leave e-mail address for your confirmation of community service locations and hours.

Little Sales Girl / Faith's Coffee & Southern Delights (P2P European Discovery)

My friends call me Faithie. Friendships are important to me, and I am always interacting with someone. I am a Social Butterfly, probably to a fault, but love to talk. I am the Queen of Gab! Music is my passion. I enjoy playing the Violin, working on Piano, and love to Sing. I am in Chorus at school, and participate in the Susquahanna Choral Childrens Choir too. I sometimes read, draw, and journal. I have been involved with Girlscouts, had fun selling cookies and going to Church Camp and Youth trips. My favorite place is the Beach, and I love Marine life, such as Dolphins. My family and I lived on the Mobile Bay near the Gulf Shores for a year and it was Great! I love other animals and have an Aqurium I take care of daily. I have a special place I call home, Sweet Home Alabama, Roll Tide! We get to go back and stay at our home on school breaks and visit my family and friends there. Because my parents and I have a special job. We live at the Milton Hershey School for disadvantaged children and youth. I live with twelve teenage girls, so we have a big family, and are always on the go! Best of all I get to eat Reeses Cups and play at Hershey Park with all my friends. Hope to share more later. Faithie
