about my venture

Darrien's European Odyssey

I was accepted into the People to People Ambassador program in early November. Next year I will be going to Greece, Italy, and France. I really hope to see the the Eiffel Tower, The Parthenon (did you know that the Parthenon was built using the golden ratio?) Cool! another math tidbit! and maybe even the Tour de France. I wonder what it was like in Pompeii in 79 AD. Could I have escaped Mt. Vesuvius? They tell me we will be making olive oil in Greece... that sounds so cool!

I'm a thirteen year old seventh grader who loves seeing new things and also eating new types of food. I like to take part in professional video and audio editing, and I'm also a musician. I go to Mt. Greylock Regional High school in Williamstown, Mass; my GPA is 3.7, and my favorite subject is math. My dad and I have made a Tesla coil because I also like Science; that thing is really cool!
