about my venture

I have been invited as a student Ambassador of People to People to travel and study in France, Italy, and Greece in the summer of 2012. As a child, I had always wanted to travel the world to discover new things, and learn about the different cultures and people. An educational exploration program, People to People, provided me with this life-changing opportunity. Being nominated for this opportunity truly meant a lot to me, to be able to experience this amazing adventure, and be able to learn so many new things, would mean so much more. However, this opportunity will be difficult to achieve without your help!

On this trip, I will:

-Discover and enjoy the excitement of traveling abroad and gain a new perspective through my experience.

-Develop new skills through activities designed to stretch students outside their comfort zone in safe and rewarding ways.

-Serve a greater purpose through community service projects designed to help the environment or assist a local community.

-Learn about the world through hands-on interaction with local citizens or with government officials and experts in many fields.

With your support, you can help pay for my trip tuition. As a “thank you gift” for your help, many rewards will be given. For example, volunteer hours in exchange for donations or small souvenirs from the countries being visited. Also, you can spread the word by forwarding my project link to others in your network!
