My Adventure

My chance of a lifetime is here now.  I have been selected to be a Student Ambassador with People To People to learn and experience for myself France, Italy, and Greece.  I am fortunate to be one of only 40 junior high school students selected.  I will be climbing the Eiffel Tower in Paris, riding the gondolas in Venice, and walking the beautiful beaches in Greece.  My tour is going to allow me to stay with a family to really learn the culture and I also get the behind the public tour look at the governments of each country.  I will experience the local cuisine, repel down a castle, and build global friendships I hope will last a lifetime.  Check out my whole itinerary here: 

Top Program Activities

  • Marvel at Michelangelo’s impressive statue David in Florence, Italy.
  • Experience the world-famous Louvre Museum and its incredible artistic treasures.
  • Step into the Square of Miracles, site of the famous Leaning Tower of Pisa.
  • Help citizens protect endangered sea turtles near Athens.
  • Build confidence as you challenge yourself to rappel down a castle wall.
  • Stroll through the Forum and visit the Colosseum like the ancient Romans.
  • Cruise to a Grecian isle, and take a dip in the warm, azure waters of the Mediterranean.
  • Explore the canals of Venice by gondola, and gaze on the extravagance of St. Mark’s Basilica and the Doge’s Palace.

How do I make my dream come true?

I am super excited to go, but I am in need of help from friends and family.  As anyone knows, traveling is never cheap.  My parents and I have decided instead of trying to push everyone into buying junk they don't need to try to help, we would just beg, hope, and pray for donations.  So please help me look beyond myself and to think more globally.  I have played about every video game out there and could use some fresh air.
