about my venture

Paul (age 11) has been accepted as a student ambassador in the People to People program.  Following an application and interview process, he was selected as one of only 35 students in Ohio. 

He will travel to Australia for two weeks, interacting with a foreign culture and representing Midwest America.

There is no other opportunity like the one offered by People to People.  Our son will meet Australian politicians, swim in the Great Barrier Reef with marine biologists, interact with natives who will teach him to throw a boomerang, and even get to go back stage at the Sydney Opera House.

This experience is very expensive.  Parents and grandparents have provided most of the funding, and Paul will be raising money on his own through dog walking, pet sitting, and bake sales.  But it will not be enough.
