about my venture

When I received the acceptance letter for the People to People Ambassador Program I was so excited. With 39 other student Ambassadors I will be traveling to Europe for 19 days.  I will get to visit Rome, Cinque Terre, and Florence, Italy. Then we travel to the South of France, see Cannes where the movie stars visit, and we get to swim in the "beautiful sparkling waters" of Cote d'Azur. We also get to explore a medieval city, look at lots of ancient architecture and eat fabulous food! We will be welcomed into the homes of our Spanish or French homestead families. I cannot wait for that part! After saying good bye to our new families, we head for Barcelona, Spain where we will play a friendly game of soccer. Uh Oh! Our last stop on this amazing adventure is Madrid, Spain where we will see famous pieces of art,  and learn Flamenco dancing by professional dancers. Please help me raise the money to pay for this once in a life time trip. I can't wait to go!

Margaret (Maggie) Hart

I'm a freshman at Columbia High School. I sing in the church choir, babysit for neighbors and friends, dog walk, and play ultimate frisbee. At CHS I play trumpet in the concert band and for fun, piano.
