about my venture

I'm fundraising for my trip to Canada in the summer of 2012 through People To People international. I hope to get some generous donations to help me get there and reach for that star in the sky. Traveling is one of the greatest values in my life. I want to be able to experience someone else's culture, or even celebrate it with them. I will be sending everyone who donates, some photos of my trip and a Thank You card. I can already see myself whale watching and sleeping in a traditional tipi!
My name is Marika, and I like to read, write stories on my iPad, listen to music and travel to different places. I also have a dog, Buddy, and a cat, Pebbles, I can't wait for this Journey to start!

My name is Marika and I'm trying to raise money for my trip to Canada through People to People. I have never been out of the country but love to travel. I'm hoping people will be generous enough to donate, even a little, to help my fund. I can already see myself up in the mountains hiking and standing on a giant glacier! I really hope my dreams will come true to see the world from a different angle!
