Funding for: Tuition for traveling the South Pacific

about my venture

Thank you for taking the opportunity to read about my venture. I am a Student Ambassador with People to People. I have traveled with People to People this past summer to France, Italy and Greece. The education that I received during my travel, enhanced what I've learned in the classroom!

I need your help through monitary donations, to raise my tuition for next summer's trip to New Zealand, Australia and Fiji.

I don't take my opportunities for granted. I understand and believe in the saying, "To whom much is given, much is expected."

I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a Student Ambassador. Traveling to different countries with People to People, allows me access to the workings of that particular countries government. I am able to live in the homes of my host families, and experience how they live. In addition to the historical experiences, these two aspects are very important to me.

People to People's mission, is global peace through understanding. I understand, that the politicians in Europe, are just as passionate about their beliefs as we Americans are. I understand, that the 15 year old in Italy, likes the same things as I do! We may have had a slight language barrier, but we communicated well, when we danced and sang.

I plan on a future in the political arena. My travels with People to People allows me to understand myself, my country and my world a little better. Being a Student Ambassador, is helping me foster ideas and intent on how I can help change the lives of others.

Imani Woodyard

I am a fifteen year old sophomore, wanting to accomplish amazing things. My passion is dance, it is my way of expression. I am an athlete, participating in basketball, track, cross country and soccer just to name a few. My ultimate first choice of higher education is Vanderbilt and I plan to major in Political Science. My dream career is to become the President of the U.S. I want to be a life changer, an inluential role model that encourages people to realize that it is okay to be different and to reach for the stars. I want to change the world. I know it sounds cliche and impossible but if I inspire atleast one person, then my life is complete.
