Our Venture

Green Lampshadez provides a number of different sets, designs, sizes of Green, Eco-friendly, handmade, natural paper lampshades. We are Green because we don't cut trees or use harmful chemicals. Our products are made by pruning the bark of a special kind of tree without actually cutting the tree. The tree bark naturally regenerates in six to seven years, and then it gets ready to be pruned again. The lampshades are usually made in rural areas of Nepal, mostly by women.

WHY are we unique?

The unique part of  our company is the fact that the products are unique. Our products might look like every other lampshade that you might have seen in different malls and shopping centers, but don't just go for the look. When one touches and feels our products, it does feel different and authentic. The reason being, they are all handmade. Every lampshade has its own unique texture and carries authenticity.

Help us spread the words and make people aware of our new venture and the company itself.  Help us get as many ventures as possible to generate enough money to market the company, its products and its goal. We would so much appreciate your help :). Enough about the products, let's talk about our other goal.

Besides providing the lampshades, we have a vision of helping children in Nepal through education. There are children in Nepal that needs enough funding for them to go to school and get proper education. The company is working very closely with a non-profit organization known as Nepalese Children's Education Fund (NCEF). For every lampshade that we sell, we donate a $1 to the organization. In a nutshell, we provide Green, Eco-friendly products and we are trying to put our name out there among the other big companies. Also, we are helping children to make their dreams come true through education.

Hello, my name is Sudin Shrestha and I am the President and founder of Green Lampshadez. I was born in Nepal in the capital city called Kathmandu. I have always had an entrepreneur mindset of starting a business. I am a student as well. I am currently working on my MBA from Florida Atlantic University. My dream has always been to create a business, promote it, make it big, and give back to the ones who need love, care and help.
