about my venture

We are raising money to send our daughter on a special trip abroad through People to People. Our daughter is a special teenager with high hopes and dreams. She is looking to go to an ivy league college out of high school. She loves to help others and asks for nothing in return. 

My 15 year old daughter deserves to become a student ambassador with People to People on a trip to England, Whales, Ireland and Scottland.

The trip starts in London meeting a member of parliment, here she will also get to ride on the London eye the worlds highest ferris wheel as well as the witness the changing of the guard first hand. Then sail accross the Irish sea to Wales where she will learn leadership and team building by repelling down the side of a very tall castle wall. Then to Dublin to stay with a family for a few days with a real Irish family. Then to Scotland where she will meet a real Highlander and learn the real story behind the Loch Ness monster, Nessie.

I have been through several medical issues and still maintain a home and a couple of at home businesses that are more like hobbies since I run them on a very part time basis being a mom. I have a diverse ability to handle challenges since my children's ages vary from 2 1/2 to 20.
