CHINA 2012

I am an 8th grader living in San Clemente, CA.  Next summer, with your assistance I will be going to China with People to People as a Student Ambassador.  Please support me on this amazing opportunity to learn more about the world.

  • Experience Chinese culture firsthand when you stay with a welcoming family.
  • Make friends with Chinese students through a series of school visits throughout the country.
  • Enjoy cooking, learning kung fu, and playing Ping-Pong with local students.
  • Interact with local performers or trainers at the Suzhou Kun Opera Museum.
  • Learn from the wisdom of elderly adults from the local community.
  • Learn what it takes to become a world-class athlete when you meet with performers from an acrobatic show.
  • Enjoy a special community dance at the home-stay village.
  • Receive an Ambassadorial welcome from representatives of Chinese cities and villages.
  • Work alongside local farmers, helping them tend their orchards.

Student Ambassador / People to People

8th grade student and Boy Scout in So. California. I am planning on being a Student Ambassador with People to People this summer on a trip to China. We will see how up close their culture and even spend a few night living with local families.
