about my venture

After being nominated and accepted to travel with People to People I was honored and overjoyed! This summer I will be traveling to China with several other ambassadors. We will spend 19 days traveling to places such as Beijing, Xi’an, Shanghai, Suzhou and Hong Kong. I will have the opportunity to conquer the Great Wall, discover the ancient terra cotta soldiers, journey through the Forbidden City, attend a local school, and learn to prepare an authentic Chinese meal! I cannot wait for my home stay where I will experience the Chinese culture and lifestyle. Please help me raise the funds I need to reach my goal and travel to the historic country of China!


What Is People to People?

The People to People Ambassador program was founded by Dwight D. Eisenhower. His mission was to create peace through the understanding of differences. People to People provides others with a life changing event through travel. It allows children to represent their country, as well as, gain an understanding of diverse nations and cultures.
