about my venture

In 2009, my hunting partner and I started the Patent Process for a new, innovative idea for the hunting industry; an adjustable, carbon fiber trekking pole, that converts easily into a lightweight stalking blind.  The blind uses innovative stretchable covers, so that the presentation can be any of 19 available camo or decoy patterns, and the covers can be easily changed on the fly to accomodate most types of terrain and game.

About two weeks ago, we received notice from the US Patent Office that our Patent was accepted!  At this point, we are slowly making a name for ourselves in the industry, but we are just starting to collect video from many of our Customers of the Products being successfully used. 

Had we known the challenges of selling our Gear in a "less than stellar" economy, we would have allocated less money to the Products themselves, and more to marketing.  We are running low on finances, and it is a race against time for us to try to get our Products in some of the larger Distributors, like Cabelas, or Bass Pro Shops. 

Fortunately, we have an awesome Product, built to withstand the toughest outdoor situations, and we are starting to collect some awesome pictures and videos from some of our Customers and Pro Staffers.  We have been in contact with many Professionals in the Industry, and many of them are using our Gear, and they are thrilled with it. We have Product Sponsorhips with several Hunting TV Shows, and we recently ran a full page ad in Eastman's Bowhunting Journal. We truly feel we are close to the point of getting to the next level with our Venture. 

Seeing the success stories on Peerbackers, made us realize that even in a tough economy, the American Dream still truly exists.  We plan to return the favor if our Company realizes success...there are some great ideas out there, just waiting for the World.
